BALTMORE MAYOR SCOTT AND CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS RECEIVE PERSONAL INVITATIONS TO EXPERIENCE NACA’S ACHIEVE THE DREAM EVENT
THOUSANDS REGISTERED TO ATTEND SATURDAY, SUNDAY AND MONDAY
(BALTIMORE, MD – September 10, 2022) —— NACA Founder and CEO Bruce Marks sent the following email message to Baltimore Mayor Scott and each member of the City Council, personally inviting them to experience NACA’s Achieve the Dream affordable homeownership event. The event has had several thousand people attend from Baltimore and elsewhere with many becoming qualified for NACA’s Best in America Mortgage. NACA is the nation’s largest non-profit HUD certified housing counseling organization, and HUD Deputy Assistant Secretary for Housing Counseling David Berenbaum visited the event on Thursday, praising NACA’s work.
The body of the invitation, which included photos and video links, follows in its entirety:
I am sending you a few photos from earlier today at NACA’s Achieve the Dream Event here in Baltimore. This huge turnout is the result of word of mouth from family, co-workers and friends telling homebuyers that NACA is the place to come for affordable homeownership.
I invite you to come to the event personally and see the impact NACA has in making affordable homeownership a reality for low- and moderate-income individuals and people of color. We want to continue working with you on the Dollar House bill with homeowners accessing funds to renovate these abandoned properties. We are concerned that without affordable homeownership opportunities in Baltimore that residents will continue to flee Baltimore and purchase elsewhere.
More than a thousand homebuyers have already attended today, and we expect thousands more before the event finishes on Monday. Many are receiving same-day qualifications for NACA’s Best in America Mortgage (no down-payment, no closing costs, no mortgage insurance at a below market fixed rate). Your constituents have done their homework and trust NACA to help them achieve the American Dream of homeownership. The below photos and videos demonstrate that NACA has the best homeownership program for low to moderate income individuals and people of color, as your constituents already know. For more than 35 years NACA has been in the forefront in the fight for economic justice and realization of affordable homeownership.
You are welcome to call me directly at 617-250-6244 to arrange your visit. I would like to personally give you a tour of the event so you can fully understand the effectiveness of NACA’s comprehensive counseling and Best in America mortgage.
Hope to See You Soon!
