July 31 is the last day for the federal eviction moratorium designed to keep people struggling financially in their homes during the pandemic. That means—of course—the flood gates could open wide on Aug. 1 for a wave of evictions both here in Connecticut and nationally.
Someone who’s been paying close attention to this is Bruce Marks. He’s the CEO and Founder the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America—or NACA.
